زهرة الصحراء هي تكوين بلوري طبيعي يتشكل عبر الزمن من تفاعل الرمل والرطوبة والرياح، وتُعد من الرموز الجيولوجية المرتبطة ببيئة قطر. وقد استُلهم منها تصميم متحف قطر الوطني، حيث جسد شكلها المتداخل ليعكس ارتباط قطر العميق بالأرض والطبيعة والتراث. لذلك ترمز زهرة الصحراء إلى صمود قطر وقوتها، وإلى قدرتها على تحويل قسوة البيئة إلى جمال وإنجاز وتميّز.
